2004 Membership Conference Raised Issues and Debate
The second annual ACLU Membership Conference concluded this past week after three days of engaging appearances by people like Richard Clarke, Seymour Hersh, Sandra Tsing Loh, governors Bill Owens and Howard Dean, Coleen Rowley and ACLU leaders. More than 2,000 ACLU members and supporters attended the event with the call to "Stand Up for Freedom."
