    Dear ACLU,
I am astonished at the way that capital punishment is being dealt with around United States. I can't believe that innocent people lives are being taken away from them because of others not taking the time to do their jobs the proper way. It is depressing just thinking of the fact that a father, mother, or someones best-friend can be sitting on death row right now and they are innocent. Their are others that are for death penalty and they feel that a criminal deserves maximum punishment for certain crimes. But even they are now questioning the system and finding it very difficult to endorse something so unfair and unjust.
Under no circumstances will I ever endorse the killing of another human being no matter what crime they committed. We all can agree if there were better lawyers and judges and a new system of justice, it might be understandable in some cases for a person to possibly face death or maybe if they just requested it themselves. I am a true supporter for your effort to create a moratorium on further executions. Death row is not the answer on rehabilitating criminals or to even set an example for another crook. We need to execute the legal system that we use, then fairness would prevail.
    Sincerely,
