When will Barack Hussein Obama stop the domestic torture program of United States civilians in there own homes using stuff your not supposed to talk about. Ruining peoples lives. The pain is unbarrable and unpresidented torture. Its bad stuff. Its best to be stopped now behind the scenes because the collaterial damage it would do in the scenes is not good for the general welfare of the people who don't experience this torture. There needs to be behind the scenes compensation for these people. There needs to be healing for these targeted individuals.

how can you shut down gitmo? Has Obama lost his f-ing mind? I have an idea....invite terrorist's to your house for a bbq and ask them all the questions needed to end the war while drinking your kool-aid. So what your telling me is....it's fine for them to torture our troops and cut their heads off on t.v. but we cant interrogate them? You guys are a fucking joke...quit fucking everything up in the world...you will never get rid of GOD either so cut the shit out...and as far as gays go....marriage is for a man and woman because they reproduce children....get it? Adoption for gays should be banned also...why fuck a kids head up and get him beat up at school? Do you guys think long term at all?.... what feels good dosent mean its right

Drifter you're so eloquent! I have just a couple of questions for you. Question 1: Just whose God are you referring to? You sound like you're about to start jihad, so I assume you’re a follower of Allah.
Question 2: The whole purpose of this country is to preserve those civil rights outlined in our constitution. What are we protecting, if we suspend those rights?
As I see it, Gitmo is disrespectful of all those men and women who have served this country. They gave of their blood and sweat and in cases, their lives, to defend our country and it’s constitution.

I did not vote for Obama! I do not believe in his ideas. I understand we can not ignore change, change is an everyday event. I believe Obama's ideas for change are going to be devastating to those who voted for him, and those who did not. The closing of Guantanamo is a very stupid move for Obama. Where does he plan on having these prisoners housed should it close? Obama has never served in the military and he does not know what he's doing. America we need to brace ourselves because the next four years is going to be very bumby.

This is not about interrogation, it is about living in a land of laws. There is nothing legally preventing our interrogation of prisoners, the problem is that they are being detained without any hope of escape without even reasonable access to the information surrounding their imprisonment. No one is saying terrorists should be free to roam the streets and drink lemonade at our family barbecues. Lock them away and throw away the key if that is what a legally established court decides. But try them. Convict them. Without this process, we can never be safe and never be free. And Guantanamo is nothing more than a concentration camp, except this one is for Muslims instead of Jews.
As for the other comment involving Obama's lack of experience in the military, I agree that this decision could have serious consequences that I myself am struggling with. However, the blame shouldn't be placed on Obama, but on the administration that decided to find a way around the Geneva Conventions and create this mess in the first place.
