"Toughest Sheriff in America" Stripped of ICE Agent Status
More evidence that 287(g) is deeply flawed. Advocates, experts and many police have criticized the program and demands to end it have increased since the Obama administration's July announcement that it would expand the Bush-era program without instituting significant reforms. Profiling of all types exist. How about when a customer walks onto a car lot, right away the salesman will make a unconcious decision as to whether he thinks that customer can afford to buy or not. It won't stop until Jesus comes back.

It is only the "tough on crime" members of law enforcment and the judicial system that your organization seems to despise. But when a pro-crime judge or officer of the law lets a criminal off easy and the innocent are victimized, there is no opposition from the ACLU. I pray for the day when the law-abiding will say ENOUGH and take the law into their own hands. We see what you do for the rights of the criminal, but when are you going to stand up for the innocent?
