Constitution Day Wrap-Up

Thanks to everyone who's signed the pledge—we already have 40,684 pledges (and counting!). And many thanks to everyone who blogged on our campaign, including Jeralyn at TalkLeft, Nick Juliano at Raw Story, and BlueThunder at DailyKos.

Marisa Treviño at LatinaLista:

No matter how the last eight years are evaluated, it's an understatement to say that the Constitutional rights of U.S. citizens were stretched to the limit. In many cases, people's rights were outright violated or dismissed. It became too easy to hide the reasons behind a blanket of excuses about national security.

As the run for the White House continues and each candidate promises to bring "change" to Washington, it is painfully obvious that some things never should have changed — namely, trivializing the Constitutional rights of the people.
Christy Hardin Smith at Firedoglake:
Would that were so for the whole of this nation as we sit here, on Constitution Day, and try to remember that we are a nation of laws, not of frightened, angry sheeple.
Our goal is to deliver 300,000 pledges to McCain and Obama's offices by October 15. So please continue to spread the word!

I would like to mention on this post, your comment section kind of sucks. I didn't get the letters in the code right the first time, so it deleted this post, and I had to right this all over again.

    Please watch this video

I found it because I was trying to find a video posted by user Rodneykingman

I found his account had been deleted. This is the video I was looking for that was reposted by another user.

I also posted this on the first Youtube link.

Youtube says you can only post video clips that you shot your self. It's in their rules section. You can't take other video and use it for commentary. Like you can't piece news clips together and make a statement on them.

This is all a bunch of crap of course.

Maybe we can ask the ACLU to help us fight for rights as independent journalists.

We need to fight for First Amendment protection for bloggers and Youtubers.

SUPER NAFTA, HUH? The SPP links the 3 countries "security" (armies/ governments/ police) and the 3 countries "prosperity" (economies/ currencies/ Biometric RFID Microchips)! Yes , that is what they are doing now and are going to continue doing! They are microchipping everyone with Biometric RFID microchips! TWIC, VISAS, PASSPORTS, REALID........ Because if they are REALLY going to open up them borders WIDE!!!! They must microchip EVERYONE for security, though! Those things are the Mark of the Beast or Mark of the New World Order, too! I love G.W.! Didn't anybody realize the government is now not just listening to phone convo's anymore???? Now they are microchipping the masses! Get ready to be controlled if the ACLU doesn't take a case coming their way soon!

Every SINGLE RESIDENT of Britain is going to be microchipped with a Biometric RFID microchip in their National ID by like 2011 or 2012. I found an article from the telegraph UK that said that cheques would no longer be taken at their supermarket soon and even plastic cards were going away...the Article was titled something like Shoppers to use fingerprints and eye scans to buy goods! Sounds fishy to me! And guess what, they say it is because of good 'ole 9/11 also! I hate this world! Come, Jesus, come!

    2 Thessalonians 2

1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

    3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

The RFID chip identifies without authentication. It has been proven the rfid's can be cloned. There aren't any safety measures for the rfid, if there were a 3 step measure of rfid, biometrics, and a password encoded on this chip would give a citizen a safety measure. Make this an option for people who want the chip, nothing should be made mandatory. Laws should be also in place to protect people who are against having the chip. It would be to easy to say if you don't have the chip you are denied medical care, denied food, denied money. Also receiving the chip should be a complete act of volunteering with zero incentives, except convenience.
