See USA vs. Al-Arian Tomorrow Night!Tomorrow night, the ACLU and NYCLU will co-present a screening of USA vs. Al-Arian at the HRW International Film Festival. The documentary profiles university professor Sami Al-Arian, a pro-Palestinian activist who, in 2003, was charged in with funding and supporting a Palestinian terrorist group. Al-Arian was held in solitary confinement for 2 ½ years while awaiting trial. Despite the U.S. governments' attempt to portray Al-Arian as a criminal and terrorist, the jury found him not guilty of all charges. Thursday's screening is at 9 p.m. at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center (165 West 65th Street). Jamil Dakwar, Director of the ACLU's Human Rights Program and man-about-Guantánamo, will give introductory remarks.

Is this the same Al Arian who pled guilty to supporting terrorism, and was sentenced to 57 months? If so, then your statement that he was found "not guilty on all charges" is more than disingenuous.
What about the other 9 charges on which the jury hung??? I know the ACLU knows the difference between a not guilty verdict and a hung jury.
Without the Heller decision, I would never have read this and found out how far you've fallen.
