Apparently, the Obama administration also believes America is full of fearful little people that will gladly trade human and civil rights for the appearance of security. This is disgusting! Time to take action.

What Does Pat Leahy Know That Team Obama Will Soon Confront?
WHILE THE PRESIDENT AND THE MEDIA ARE PURPOSELY DISTRACTED BY THE 'GENERATED' ECONOMIC CRISIS...

...THE *ONGOING* 'AUTHORIZED' DOMESTIC TORTURE OF AMERICAN CITIZENS WITH RADIATION WEAPONRY.

IT IS DAY 22 OF THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.

Before I jump on the "here we go again"band wagon. Even the Obama Administration is going to continue the Bush Administrations abuses of civil rights, I propose the most basic question. Was there a change of attorneys representing the Justice Dept.? Since A.G. Holder was just confirmed a matter of days ago, then I would suspect that he hasn't had time assign a new attorney that is up to speed on this case. To my thinking this was probably a hold over politicized Justice Dept. lawyer arguing for the state. There is plenty of time to correct the abuses of the Bushies, though there is a need for prompt action.

Is the ACLU censoring comments? Mine (innocuous, in my opinion, given what's happening here in the good ol' USA) have been held for almost 2 days now.
I'll consider leaving something to the ACLU in my will when the ACLU steps up to the plate and tackles the egregious practices of warrantless surveillance, sneak 'n peak searches, and harassment of good, loyal, law-abiding American citizens.
And to those who say that it's okay, if one has nothing to hide? Just wait until you've been "targeted" for some benign and unknown reason. If it could happen to me, it could happen to anyone. Listen up, folks -- we now live in a country where apparently anything goes.
The rule of law is dead and the Constitution pretty meaningless when anyone (with the "say so" of someone powerful) can be put on a list somewhere for ongoing surveillance and harassment (and God-only-knows what else.) I'm a white, law-abiding R.N. -I'm not even remotely close to being a criminal. And I'm definitely not alone.
Fascism has indeed come to America. Who is going to help?
