Biography of Avinash Samarth

Avinash Samarth is a legal assistant for the Human Rights Program (HRP) and the Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project (SPT). He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a major in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. At Penn, Avinash studied problems of mass incarceration, examined the failure of death penalty abolition in the United States, and was an avid member of Penn Mock Trial.
