Biography of Hannah Robbins

Hannah Robbins is a paralegal at the New York office of the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project.  She graduated from Northwestern University in 2009 with a degree in Spanish and Gender Studies.  Hannah first became interested in immigrants’ rights as an intern at the National Immigrant Justice Center’s Asylum Project and as a staff member of the National Office of the global health organization GlobeMed.  After graduating, she continued to work with GlobeMed by creating and piloting the organization’s first Partner Search Fellowship, in which she connected grassroots health organizations in Latin America with GlobeMed’s expanding student network.  In addition to her passion for immigrants’ rights and social justice, Hannah enjoys hiking and camping, bike riding,  storytelling, and (as a new resident of Brooklyn) exploring the wonderful things the five boroughs have to offer.
