Biography of Molly Lauterback

Molly Lauterback is the legal assistant at the ACLU Immigrants’ Rights Project.  She graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a B.A. in history.  As a student, she studied the history of marginalized populations and wrote her thesis on the relationship between Native Americans and Mormons in the early 19th century.   She was awarded funding through the Adelphic Cornell Educational Fund to intern at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art in Indianapolis where she worked on projects integrating Native studies into mainstream public education.  She spent most of her summers, however, working on a ranch in Southern Montana.
