Local Anti-Immigrant Laws
The ACLU is fighting back against anti-immigrant laws at the local level. The precursors to Arizona’s notorious SB 1070, these ordinances aim to make life unlivable for immigrant and Latino communities by targeting their access to housing, employment, and other basic necessities.
The ACLU and its partners have prevailed against these discriminatory laws in towns across the country and will keep fighting to ensure that such laws stay off the books.
