Racial Re-Segregation of Public Schools - During court ordered desegregation,
schools in the racially mixed city of Tuscaloosa, Alabama roughly reflected
the school system's racial makeup, and there were no all-black schools.
Today, following the rezoning of the school district, one cluster of
schools has a high school that is 73% black; another has 5 schools
with 2,330 students, of whom only 19 are white and its high school
