  • Exploitation of Women Workers by Diplomats - Three women who were trafficked to the U.S. were enslaved and abused by a Kuwaiti diplomat and his wife living in McLean, Virginia. In Sabbithi, et. al. v. Al-Saleh, et. al. , the ACLU sued the country of Kuwait as well as the diplomat, and is proceeding with the case. The ACLU also brought the case before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. p. 117
