ACLU-VT SEEKS STAFF ATTORNEY

The American Civil Liberties Union of Vermont seeks applicants for a staff attorney to work in our office in Montpelier. The staff attorney will have primary management responsibility for the legal program of the ACLU-VT. This includes case management of civil liberties issues from intake through litigation, working with the executive director, legal advisory panel, and volunteer attorneys at our Vermont affiliate; and keeping in contact with the legal staff at the national ACLU, its projects, and at other affiliates. Applicants should have strong legal research and writing skills, the ability to interact positively with a wide range of people, and a demonstrated commitment to public interest law and the mission of the ACLU.

This is a full-time position, with generous benefits. Application deadline is April 1. Further details are available on our Web site (www.acluvt.org) or by e-mailing info@acluvt.org.

The ACLU of Vermont is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage applications from women, people of color, persons with disabilities, and LGBT individuals.
