the National Security Agency and Lieutenant General Keith B. Alexander have agreed to a stay of the Court’s Judgment and Permanent Injunction Order of Aug. 17, 2006, pending the Court’s ruling on the Defendants’ forthcoming motion for a stay pending appeal. A hearing on the motion is scheduled for September 7.
Ask the Attorney General to limit FBI intelligence gathering to true threats rather than wasting precious resources by investigating innocent Americans and mapping communities based on racial stereotypes and suspicion without evidence.
