Concerned About Reports of Denial of Rights, ACLU Asks Ashcroft for Details on Widespread Detention (10/17/2001)
WASHINGTON -- Saying that unprecedented government secrecy is raising questions about the fairness of the government's investigation into the terrorist attacks, the American Civil Liberties Union today asked the Justice Department to release to the American public additional information about the more than 700 people held in detention since September 11. 

ACLU, Civil Rights Groups Move to Unseal Court Documents in Wen Ho Lee Case (06/06/2001)
SAN FRANCISCO--Acting on behalf of Chinese for Affirmative Action, the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California, the Asian Law Caucus and local attorneys today filed a motion in New Mexico to gain access to documents that remain under seal in the case of nuclear scientist Wen Ho Lee.
