, a Kentucky death row inmate's challenge to the state's lethal injection protocol. Kentucky uses a three drug cocktail that is used in virtually all capital punishment jurisdictions.
The ACLU Capital Punishment Project filed an amicus brief in the case
. The CPP asserts that the secretive nature in which states carry out lethal injection executions and their unwillingness to reveal their protocols is unconstitutional.
