Jameelah Medina, a practicing Muslim who was forced by police to remove her hijab (headscarf), spoke about Muslim women's religious freedom rights at the ACLU Human Rights Program conference, "Keeping Your Faith in Post-9/11 America: Religious and Ethnic Discrimination and Human Rights," in November 2008 at the Muslim Unity Center in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
