Pregnancy-Related Health Care in Prison

Recall Health Care Denial Rule
President Obama has issued a proposal to rescind Bush's Health Care Denial Rule. The Bush Rule undermines the ability of American women to obtain basic health care, including birth control and information about abortion.

Federally funded abstinence-only-until-marriage programs are ineffective, medically inaccurate, and some even use taxpayer dollars to promote religion. The ACLU is calling for an end to federal funding. Ask President Obama to stop funding the abstinence-only-until-marriage experiment and to start funding real sex ed!

End Misuse of Taxpayer Dollars in Trafficking Victims’ Program
Since 2006, the Department of Health and Human Services has allowed the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to limit, based on its religious beliefs, the services trafficking victims receive with federal funds.
