Description: During the last five years, the number of New Jersey children enrolled in Medicaid who have been tested for childhood lead poisoning has increased significantly. Working together, advocates and New Jersey's Medicaid agency have shown that targeted outreach and education to parents and medical professionals can have a meaningful impact on the identification and treatment of lead poisoned children.
