American Civil Liberties Union : Tucson City Council resolution gets attention of Arizona Senator and Representative

Tucson City Council resolution gets attention of Arizona Senator and Representative (5/8/2003)

As the Tucson City Council considered a resolution in support of civil liberties, they received two letters from Capitol Hill, one from Representative Grijalva supporting their resolution, and one from Senator Kyl strongly opposing the resolution. Senator Kyl's letter had some misstatements about the USA PATRIOT Act. Here is the exchange:
