The ACLU of Arizona filed a request on May 24, 2006, for the PUC to investigate whether Verizon, AT&T, and Qwest have shared customers? phone records with the NSA. The commission has given no formal response or indication that it is investigating, but Qwest formally stated it has refused to provide the NSA with phone records when it was requested.
