Holding Phone Companies Accountable
The ACLU of Delaware filed a complaint with the state's Public Services Commission to investigate whether AT&T and Verizon have shared customers' phone records with the NSA. The commission held a public hearing on June 20, 2006. On July 11, 2006, the commission announced it would postpone any further action for six months.
