Matt Bors, 24, is a nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist with United Media. His comics run in the Village Voice, Los Angeles Times, Funny Times, the San Francisco Daily and other papers and websites.
Wanting to draw comics since he was young, Bors began creating political cartoons in 2003 for the student paper at The Art Institute Of Pittsburgh. After college his weekly strip, "Idiot Box", was picked up by alt weeklies like the Cleveland Free Times and Seven Days. Now living in Portland, OR, his illustration work can be seen in magazines and newspapers around the country and has contributed comics to The Nation, The Oregonian, The Stranger and The Boston Phoenix.
Bors also draws a bi-weekly feature, War Is Boring, with journalist and war correspondent David Axe. He cartoons and blogs at www.mattbors.com and has only recently become addicted to coffee.
