On March 8, 2010, the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, the ACLU Women’s Rights Project and Human Rights Program hosted a roundtable discussion with U.S. and international advocates for women’s human rights, during the 54th UN Commission on the Status of Women.  Panelists shared their perspectives on the value of CEDAW as an international human rights instrument, its implementation in other countries, and the real impact that U.S. ratification would have on women’s lives.
