How do I get the ACLU Membership Conference App?
All registered attendees are invited to download and access the ACLU Membership Conference App.

Your username: the email address you registered with for the conference
Why do I see the LOOPD home screen when I return to the app?
If you close your app or your app times out, it will take you back to the LOOPD home screen for security purposes.
However, if you are still logged in, you should see the ACLU Membership Conference event in your Recently Visited Events and all you need to do is click on the event logo and it will return you back into the conference app.
If for some reason you are no longer signed in, you will need to re-enter the event access code 445500 and login again with your username and password.
What if I forgot my login to the app?
Your login to the app is your attendee reference number, which can be found in your confirmation email. If you are having trouble finding your reference number, please email email@example.com with subject line, Conference App Questions.
How do I update my personal info?
You must be logged in before you can update your personal information. Next, you can go to My Profile to update your personal information.
Click on personal info in My Profile. In personal info, you can add a picture, you can change or update your First name, Last name, Function (Job) and Company. You can also give a brief description of what you do or why you are excited to be at the conference. If you chose to be visible/discoverable in the app during registration, this information will be visible to other attendees in the Attendees feature.
Some of the key features:
- Sessions: Information on all the amazing conference sessions, workshops, film screenings, keynote addresses, dinners, podcasts and more. This feature will give you the speaker or panel details. It also provides the time, locates the session on the floor map, and can add it to your personal calendar (Google, iCal, etc). You can also rate the session when you’re done!
Speakers & Entertainment: Check out the bios and descriptions of the superb lineup of speakers and entertainment for the conference!
People Power: You can volunteer right from your own home -- no matter where you live -- and help recruit ACLU supporters to join events, organize their communities, and commit to vote with us this year. Join a People Power calling or texting team to help plug ACLU supporters into the best ways to help from where they live.
Legislative Scorecard: The ACLU Congressional Scorecard evaluates votes by members of Congress on key legislation affecting civil liberties and civil rights since January 2017. Members’ scores represent their willingness to stand up and guard the rights that are fundamental to our democracy, and we will continue to hold them accountable for their votes.
ACLU Voter: Pledge to be an ACLU Voter and vote like your rights depend on it. An ACLU Voter demands that candidates for public office commit to protect our democracy, end discrimination, expand our rights, and create a nation with liberty and justice for all.
Attendees: This feature lists the conference attendees that chose to be discoverable/visible in the app during the registration process.
Chat: You can chat with other ACLU Membership Conference attendees in the app as long as they are visible/discoverable. You can check in the Attendees feature, which allows you to filter by first name, last name, or company. You can also look in the Search feature which will search across the app.
Inbox: Keep a lookout for conference notifications from the event team in your inbox! And make sure you allow push notifications if you'd like to receive last minute notifications and reminders during your time in D.C.
ACLU NewsFeed: Keep up with the latest from the ACLU's Twitter and Facebook accounts.
What does it mean to be visible/discoverable in the App?
During registration, there was a question that asked if you wanted to be discoverable in the app in order to chat and send messages to other attendees at the conference. If you answered yes to this question, you will be visible/discoverable in the Attendees feature of the app.

How do I chat with other attendees?
If they are visible/discoverable in the app, you can search for them a few ways. You can check in the Attendees feature, which allows you to filter by first name, last name, or company. You can also look in the Search feature which will search across the app.
