Because freedom can't protect itself
Why were you arrested for having an invalid train pass? That seems too extreme. Or was it because of your hijab?
YOUR ORGANIZATION SUCKS. ACLU WAS A USEFUL NEEDED TOOL.ALL YOU HAVE BECOME IS A LIBERAL GROUP OF IDIOTS.DAMAGING THIS COUNTRY ON A DAILY BASIS.
they wouldn't put u in prison for a invalid ticket they would fine u ???
I am so sick of Muslims here and abroad. If I had my way I'd let Israel kill all the arab animals. Damn Palestinians are nothing short of animals. They start a war then cry SCREW EM
Why not fight for everyone's religious beliefs which includes religious beliefs in a lack of a God which should be taken as seriously. What if people want to wear a t-shirt saying "religion makes people hate" or "I don't believe in God" in jail? and only feel comfortable and safe wearing this message? Would that be acceptable? Why isnt there more equal treatment and protection by the ACLU of all religions? This case then should have been that you can wear what you need to wear in jail that makes you feel comfortable and safe, instead, there appears to be a greater protection given to a certain religion in this instance. (Can a nonmuslim keep on a headscarf, why not?)
I was once a "card carrying" member of the ACLU. It is cases like this that made me never sign up again.
These are the first steps into turning our Country into a total mess.
Can't you see that the "hijab" is a sign of blantant oppression? Have you ever seen Muslim women in London wearing the full Muslim dress where you see only a slit for their eyes? Will you defend that also?
Man, I am really scared for the future.
I'm sorry...this is just incredible...As a prisoner, you should have NO rights whatsoever...are you kidding me?????? This country is getting out of control with this nonsene!
Now i’m glad that I noticed this site, exactly the suitable information which wanted!
