Because freedom can't protect itself
I am sorry but mental illness is not a valid excuse to commit murder. I am getting really tired of this notion that a person can commit murder but because he or she is determined to be 'insane' that somehow makes it alright.
With respect to Larry Robison, even if his family had insurance, it is very difficult to lock someone in a mental insitution. A lawyer can argue this violates his rights.
If you commit murder you should be locked up.
The quacks who refused to treat Robinson because of a lack of insurance have a lot of blood on their hands.
I know I sound like a broken record. But people like Larry Robison will still not be treated with the new health care that is coming out. Has anyone read the bill?
