Because freedom can't protect itself
So when a man muders his daughter or wife as per "Sharia" law, will he then be found innocent?
The previous comment demonstrates a basic lack of understanding of our justice system here in America. Nope - there is little to justify killing another human being, other than self defense, which require a "I feared for my life" standard.
Most Sharia law is practiced in interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution and banking. The anti-Sharia myth makers often promote their arguments as if they want governments to pass laws to intrude upon the relationship between a religious leader and those believers he councils. This to would be absolutely unconstitutional!
Should the governments, State and Federal, also pass laws forbidding the Catholic Church from forcing Catholics to take Catholic marriage counseling before being married in the Catholic Church?
Yep - also unconstitutional!
Completely agree with above comment. No surprise that ACLU and CAIR are in bed with each other. Besties for life.
anons, it is difficult to be polite in the face of your ignorance, but I will try. When a man murders his daughter or wife, he will be prosecuted. There is nothing happening that would prevent that. What is happening is our protections for religious freedoms are being removed by people who use your fear and ignorance against us.
