Because freedom can't protect itself
The unabashed lack of concern for death row inmates is perhaps understandable, but how these people get away with their vile rhetoric over a LEGAL procedure is beyond me.
I am just speechless. Arizona. Kansas. Mississippi. Why. WHYYYY?!!? Why are you doing this to us? Why can't you just mind your own business and focus on education, better access to health care, a safe place for families to live, cleaner neighborhoods, safer streets? There are so many things you can do to improve life - you don't have to attack women over the choices they make with their own bodies! YOU ARE ALL IDIOTS!
What a pompous ass!
LMAO! Doesn't he know fetuses don't vote or pay taxes?
I'm shocked. I would never get an abortion but how dare them to judge other people. They are not God. Just because abortion are now illegal doesn't mean that abortion will not happen. They will happen and maybe just down the street where he lives.
The only religious values that politicians like this inspire in me is the desire to say, "Jesus Christ" with a certain exasperated TONE. Women throughout Mississippi -- and the U.S. -- should mail him a coat hanger with a note of sympathy that his mother didn't use it. His contact information per his official web page is P. O. Box 1018, Jackson, MS 39215.
This is disgusting. These politicians are playing games with the lives of our daughters, mothers, sisters, and wives. It's unacceptable.
This governor, or the legislature, should be charged with "accessory to assault" or something like that, for every incident of injury that occurs because of a "coat hanger abortion."
The Supreme Court cannot intervene fast enough. It should be a crime for these legislators to be deliberately trying to circumvent the Supreme Court.
Finally, there is no morality in allowing women to maim themselves to save something that they do not want.
This man is, among other things, a sociopath. He clearly hates women. The cult of the fetus has got to stop. All of the Right to Lifers want to ban abortion; but once a baby is born, they give up on its welfare. They don't care if it's hungry or cold, has a place to live, a school to go to when it's old enough. The absolute lack of care for a woman and her health is, I think, tantamount to murder.
This article is so well written. I appreciate the persepective given because it's so true. It's so true that so many people really do feel just like Bubba but never really say what's on their mind. They are so entrenched in their conservative beliefs that they really don't care if women die. And just like the article says, whether or not abortion is legal, women will still find a way to terminate their unwanted pregnancies, regardless.
You know I don't mind it when Pro-choice people want to call themselves Pro-choice. It fits the definition, they claim they want the right to legally chose whether to have an abortion or not so if that's what they want to be called, okay. It's not like your a man who insists on being called a woman because he has severe mental issues, no you have a logical point to you're argument, it honestly makes sense to me. But I would like the same courtesy returned my way. I'm pro-life, it's that simple. It's basic biology I'm sure you've heard a thousand times before. I don't call myself anti-choice no matter how much you want to brand me as such. Neither am I anti-women. I'm a husband and father of two lovely, wonderful daughters. I've always encouraged them to be their best and not bow down to anyone but God. They are both class presidents( junior and sophomore class), honor roll students, athletes(volleyball, basketball, track & field, cross country, and golf. Plus both are varsity football managers) they are both headed to college with 3.9 and 4.5 GPAs and have the world by the tail. I've never discouraged them or allowed any racist(they are half Asian) or sexist talk to bring them down. My wife and I get constant praise from friends and teachers, always asking what our secret is, I answer,' Trust in the Lord and read Proverbs. '
And yet because I don't believe that children should be killed in the womb,I and those who think as I do are branded as anti-women, or anti- choice. It's pro-life. I have two wonderful daughters, 15 and 17 yrs old, if they had been aborted in the womb, they would be dead. Just as dead as if they were to tragically die today.
Support an unborn woman's rights! Vote for life!
jhenry69 - My choice of words for your kind isn't just "anti-choice", but more accurately, I'd say you are a "forced birther", because you want to FORCE women to give birth to children they cannot or do not want to bear. How is that your right to turn a woman into an incubator based on YOUR religious beliefs? Why do YOU get the right to make state/federal laws based on YOUR particular brand of christianity, when there are scores of other religions in this country? How would you like it if some other religion (like Islam) suddenly got to make their beliefs into laws? Maybe THEN you would believe in separation of church and state. Religion and religious beliefs are PERSONAL and belong in the home and in church, NOT IN our government and definitely not in our laws that govern people who don't even believe what you happen to belief. Don't you see the problem????
you are on a bandwagon like a lemming jumping off of a cliff. I goggled the poor poor pitiful poor and THERE YOU WERE! What an accomplishment for you.
I think he needs a vasectomy without any kind of anesthesia or pain medication, so he can know what women have endured in childbirth, or unfortunately in the past, for abortions. And, it will prevent his procreating. The world is already overpopulated with bigots and bible thumpers.
Got to love it when people bring their religious beliefs into other peoples daily lives. I won't get started on religion though since that's just another pack of BS.
