Because freedom can't protect itself
I sincerely hope that Cecillia Wang and her Immigrants Rights team has the opportunity to live in one of the border towns where our Mexican citizen friends drive drunk, drive without training or licenses, and drive without being able to read the traffic signs, and can experience first hand having their friends and relatives killed or maimed. Law enforcement will be hesitant to stop these drivers in the future, even when they commit a driving offense, because they don't want to be accused of racial profiling. So, I say to you and your team--shame on you. The carnage from the unlicensed Mexican (El Savadorian, Guatamalan, etc.) driver, knowing few rules, stopping in the middle of the road, making illegal u-turns, backing up in streets and parking lots will only increase.
