Because freedom can't protect itself
I am convinced that laws can't stop drugs.
See the paper in the November edition of the International Journal of Drug Policy where three University of Central Oklahoma academics conclude: "federal laws that try to prevent production through controls of precursors haven't worked".

I think it is terrible what the government is doing to people. If I'm already in prison I can get my sentence reduced by agreeing to testify against an innocent person to get my time reduced. They need to come up with something better because a lot of innocent people are going to prison on "conspiracy." No evidence, no drugs, no recorded phone calls, no videos, just people already serving a sentence saying that years ago they were suppose to pick up some drugs from another person.
