Thank you for posting this informative article. I hope that all civil rights attorneys reading this blog will understand the urgent need to investigate these types of case and bring the appropriate actions in the courts to end the abusive practices currently in place. The task of working towards the reformation of cruel and unjust solitary confinement procedures is a task that is worthy of this generation of lawyers.
If they don't care about women WORKING in prisons they most certainly don't care about inmates. DOCCS is corrupt from the bottom to the top!
DOC is corrupt, they beat adolescents for small infractions. Most of mental health personnel don't care to provide quality care to inmates. They follow DOC rules. This is true Ive witnessed it first hand. They way that inmates are treated in New York, we wouldnt allow people to treat their dogs like this. These are people and two wrongs don't make it right!
