Because freedom can't protect itself
People thought I was making it up, blowing it out of proportion, being a terrorist sympathizer, etc after I was explaining to them that the targeted killing drone program was wrong morally, constitutionally, and legally (in terms of international law).
I am relieved that people and organizations with more resources and clout have taken a stand on this issue.
Keep hammering away at this, ACLU!
I am interested to know what laws the United States is ignoring in it's targeted killings strategy. The article speaks of international law, but does not make reference to what law or set of laws are being violated. FYI, I'm against killing people.
Morally wrong?, I agree. Against international law? The article gives no proof so I'm agnostic.
Keep up the good work.Always remember a person ( regardless of his color, nationality and ethnicity) is innocent until proven guilty in a court (not shady but open) of law.
Why isn't this front page news? Our allies are basically going "wtf USA" and no msm network picks this up to educate and inform the American public? Thank God for Internet freedom... Oh wait, there's new legislation to attack that now. Nazis are alive and well today folks, only they now wear suits and ties, and their dictator is international corporate interest groups. This world is going down a dark path if these jerks aren't held accountable.
