Because freedom can't protect itself
Except that Michelle Bachmann is one of them. Or one of SOMEthing. I don't believe you can call her human the way she foams at the mouth about gay people and anything else she just doesn't feel like dealing with.
Then there's Sarah Palin: the one who has a picture of herself taken sitting beside a dead elk and then starts a television series so she can brag about her fresh kills. I don't think that's necessarily human either.
My brother's in a picture with a dead pheasant he caught, hanging off an arrow, but he didn't sell the photo to Time magazine and he does do mini-series about all his dead animals.
Women tell you they're "the nurturing, motherly, protective caring" sex, then they go out, kill defenseless animals and brag about it.
Or hate gay people and blame it on their religion as opposed to their own discomfort.
I know. I'm NOT gay and I AM uncomfortable with the whole marriage, gay sex thing. But I think the discomfort is coming from ME, not some other person.
Unfortunately, I'm largely alone in that thought. Everyone else appears to believe the gay people are doing it to them and not them doing it to themselves. Or whatever is causing it to be so uncomfortable. I've never pinned down why it's taking so long to be ok with it. But I HAVE determined that the feelings are mine and nobody else's.
