Because freedom can't protect itself
Very interesting what could happen to the GNSS if law enforcement officials start using tracking beacons on the regular. People all over will start to use jamming and spoofing devices so as to not feel like big brother is watching. Once allot of people start jamming and spoofing the GNSS signals the entire system will become useless. So not only is it probably unconstitutional that officials use GPS dots without a warrant, it will also be the beginning of the end of public use of the GNSS all together.
