Because freedom can't protect itself
We are fortunate to live in a country where you are presumed innocent until proven guilty; however, for those people who are in a cell the size of a parking lot accused of an execution- styled murder, having no human contact for approximately 20 hours per day, I say you are far more lucky than the person you "allegedly" murdered. Count your blessing, Aaron Hernandez. Once you are placed in general population and must be concerned for your own life, then you'll understand the fear you put your victims through. In fact, 20 hours in solitary confinement might be something you request. Pick up a Bible, confess to God - he already knows you'ved sinned. Then spend the rest of your young life setting an example for all those boys who worshipped your athletic ability. Now, let's see just how "fair" the ACLU really is with this post. ACLU - what have you to say about the civil liberties of the victims?
