As Chief Strategy Officer, Aletheia Henry leads organization-wide strategic planning for the ACLU and stewards integrated advocacy approaches for the most pressing issues on which the ACLU works. Aletheia’s previous leadership experience includes: six years working for President Obama and the Democratic Party, serving as National Campaign Director at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and as the Director of Education for the Obama Foundation. In her consulting practice, Aletheia spent a decade strategizing with and coaching teams locally and abroad. Her clients included the Human Rights Campaign, NextGen Climate, the Democracy Defense Coalition, Airbnb, Instacart, and the Hillary Clinton Campaign. As an expert in strategy and impact Aletheia ensures the way we win reflects the values we are fighting for. She is a wife, mother, and serious Buckeye fan.
