Bio

Bryan Moose (he/him) is a legislative assistant with the Liberty and Democracy teams in the National Political Advocacy Department at the ACLU, where he works on national security, artificial intelligence, privacy, surveillance, LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive rights, disability rights, racial equity, and voting rights.

Most recently, he served as a political appointee in the Biden–Harris Administration as Deputy White House Liaison at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and as a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Public Policy Fellow in the office of Congressman Robert “Bobby” Scott. He also worked on post-conviction relief for wrongful convictions with the Arizona Justice Project; on national criminal justice reform with the Brennan Center for Justice; and in local government in Dubuque, Iowa, on economic development and poverty reduction initiatives.

He holds a B.A. from Loras College, where he triple-majored in political science, criminal justice, and social work.
