Bio

Stephanie Wecht is the Deputy Chief Operating Officer at American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), where she leads teams and initiatives to optimize internal operations for effectiveness and inclusivity. With a deep passion for supporting nonprofit organizations in achieving their missions, she is focused on effective operational practices to support staff in their mission critical work and fostering a culture of belonging for all staff.

Stephanie joined the ACLU’s Development Department in 2004 to lead the organization’s first nationwide shared technology initiative to support collaboration between the National and Affiliate offices. She later served as the Director of Information Strategy and Technology overseeing the organization’s core infrastructure, digital technologies, and constituent systems. With over two decades of experience, she brings a deep skill set in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and operational strategy. She holds a Master of Public Administration from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.
