Bio
Angela H. Kang (she/her) is a J.D. Pathways Fellow at the ACLU Reproductive Freedom Project. Her fellowship focuses on protecting access to reproductive health care at the state and federal level. Angela graduated from Columbia Law School in 2025 as a Max Berger '71 Public Interest/Public Service Fellow and Racial and Social Justice Fellow. She was awarded the Allan Morrow Sexuality and Gender Law Prize for outstanding achievement in the furtherance of LGBTQ+ and women's rights. At law school, she served as the Essays Editor for the Columbia Law Review and worked with the Science, Health, and Information Clinic, and the Sexuality & Gender Law Practicum. Before law school, Angela developed prevention and assistance programs for Asian and refugee survivors of family violence. She received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin.
