Bio

Dina Kobeissi is a legal intern for the Human Rights Program at the American Civil Liberties Union. She is a rising second-year student at Harvard Law School where she serves as Co-President of the Law and International Development Society, Vice President of Careers for the National Security and Law Association, and Co-Chair of the Women in Law Volunteering Committee.

Raised between Boston, Syria, and Lebanon, Dina developed an early passion for international affairs. She graduated from Harvard College in 2024, where she studied Government and Modern Middle Eastern Studies and was awarded the James Gordon Bennett Prize for her thesis investigating the impact of economic sanctions on income inequality in Syria.

Prior to law school, Dina worked on cross-border legal work and founded a nonprofit that connects MENA diaspora with opportunities to support local initiatives in their homelands.
