Bio
Lucas A. Rodriguez is a Skadden Fellow at the ACLU Voting Rights Project. His fellowship project focuses on using state voting rights acts to combat the disparate impacts of off-cycle municipal election timing.
Before joining the ACLU, Lucas served as a law clerk first to the Hon. Theodore D. Chuang of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and then to the Hon. Pamela A. Harris of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he worked as a student attorney in the Election Law Clinic. He also holds a B.A., with Honors, in Political Science and Economics from Stanford University.
