Nellie Conover-Crockett is a legal fellow with the ACLU's State Supreme Court Initiative. Nellie graduated in 2026 from Yale Law School, where she was the Executive Editor for Notes & Comments of the Yale Law Journal and a member of the Civil Rights Advocacy Clinic. During law school, she worked for the Orleans Public Defenders, the MacArthur Justice Center's Supreme Court & Appellate Program, and Miner, Barnhill & Galland. She received her bachelor's degree from Yale.
