Xavier Persad is the Deputy Director of the Democracy and Technology Division in the ACLU's National Political Advocacy Department, where he focuses on advancing voting rights and protecting democracy. He has served as a policy expert and strategist across a broad range of other issues, including LGBTQ+ rights and gun violence prevention. Xavier holds a Master of Laws in Human Rights Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a J.D. from Florida A&M University College of Law. He is a member of the Florida Bar.
