Don’t Be Fooled by North Carolina, There Is No Repeal of The Anti-Trans HB2, Only More Discrimination.

What do they say about déjà vu all over again?

That is what seems to be happening in North Carolina where lawmakers are again rushing through a poorly thought-out, dangerous backroom deal under the guise of removing their hideous anti-LGBTQ law, HB2. But behind closed doors, in the middle of the night, all we are left with is a claimed “compromise” to repeal HB2 that just further entrenches discrimination against LGBTQ North Carolinians.

Fight for trans youth

You may remember North Carolina’s infamous House Bill 2 (HB2), the bill that has cost the state over $3.75 billion dollars, cost its former Gov. Pat McCrory his election, and cost thousands of LGBTQ North Carolinians their piece of mind and safety. It has been a stain on the state compounding the disgrace of a General Assembly that had already systematically worked to disenfranchise Black voters and solidify power for those already seated in office.

Yesterday, as the legislature approached today’s deadline imposed by the NCAA to repeal HB2, newly elected Gov. Roy Cooper, Senate Leader Phil Berger and House Speaker Tim Moore reached what they are calling a “compromise” repeal of HB2.

But let us be clear – this is no compromise. This is no repeal. This is HB2.0 and is perhaps more insidious in its targeting of LGBTQ – and particularly of trans and gender non-conforming – people. It is a backroom deal that shows no input from the community, that shows no leadership from lawmakers, that shows a callous disregard for the basic humanity of the trans and gender non-conforming people that call North Carolina home.

The bill does repeal HB2, but it just replaces it with prohibitions on local government entities (including cities, towns, schools) from extending legal protections to LGBT people until 2020 and bans on protections for transgender individuals in restrooms and other single-sex spaces forever.  The bill makes it illegal to protect people from discrimination. And worse still, it does so under a claimed interest in protecting “bathroom safety and privacy.”

No matter how many times these lies are restated, they will never be true. Letting trans people use the restroom as we must and have always done harms no one. Our bodies do not make others unsafe. We do not infringe on the privacy rights of others by existing in the world.

Being unfamiliar or uncomfortable with us does not translate into a right to expel us from society. And make no mistake, that is once again, what HB2.0 does. This is another iteration of the same – and worse because it shuts down the momentum from the past year of work against HB2. It derails the litigation, the organizing, and the public perception of what is happening.

Already in 2017, at least 8 trans women of color have been murdered. Trans young people and their families are reeling from the loss of support from the federal government. Trans people are forced to listen to people tell us we are unworthy of safety, of peace, of comfort, of simply surviving.

This is no time to play politics with our lives. This is a time to be bold in the defense of justice.

Shame on you, Roy Cooper, and everyone in the North Carolina General Assembly pushing this dangerous and fake repeal. We will not be fooled. We will fight on.

Earlier in another post, some1 got mad in replying to me when I said that most breast reduction surgeries are not needed but are done for money. There are many ways to treat back pain and migraines without surgery. Losing alot of weight helps back pain, knee pain, etc.

Robin Ophelia Quivers (Howard A. Stern's side disc jockey) talked about how in 1990 she had reduction surgery and her boobs grew back. Black women on average have bigger boobs, though there are White women with big boobs. My guess is that Robin O. Quivers regrets her breast reduction surgery and thinks it was not needed. The surgeon who mutilated Robin O. Quivers did that for money.

Ariel Winter Workman (never seen Modern Family) getting breast mutilation surgery though there are other ways to treat back pain without mutilation. Possibly actress Ariel Winter Workman wants to become a man as she got her boobs mutilated. As I understand, Modern Family supports mutilation surgeries and Ariel Winter Workman has spent too much time trying to justify her mutilation.

Women incl. this 1 who get breast surgeries (either reductions or augments) do so because they aren't happy with their body. Women who get implants complain that their boobs are small while women who get reductions complain that others comment about their big boobs. Women who get these surgeries do that because they aren't happy with their bodies & surgeons make alot of money doing them. Most women are happy with their boobs & women with big boobs brag about how they have good genes.

Have found also that most women who have big boobs are usually heavy, with BBW having big. Thin women usually have small boobs , so women can naturally grow or reduce breast size by weight, in that women who lose weight also lose breast size. Breast size can increase or decrease such as pregnancy (incr.), breast feeding (decr.) & post womenopausal women lose breast size because of estrogen loss. & there are other ways to treat things such as back pain or migraines besides mutilation. Truth is most men want women with natural boobs-big, medium or small with nothing surgical.

When I read a gay (transexuals are mutilated gays/lesbians and they must abolish sex changes) bashing case in the news, I wonder what the view is of the journalist reporting this on homosexuality/lesbianism ? I also wonder if the journalist is a homosexual or lesbian and if so, are they setting aside their bias and reporting the news with no problems ? I do not trust news that I get from Daily Kos or the Huffington Post on their coverage of gay bashing cases because they predictably make the homosexual look like an innocent victim no matter what wrong the gay does.

Here’s what predictably the Daily Kos and other media left out. Lawrence Fobes King exposed himself and harassed other boys for sex in the bathroom. When complaints were made about Lawrence Fobes King, the lesbian VP Joy Epstein refused to expel him. 1 boy who had enough of Lawrence Fobes King’s harassment shot and killed him in class in February 2008.

Lawrence Fobes King (Lawrence) harassed Brandon James McInerney (Brandon) by stalking Brandon such as following Brandon wherever Brandon went, even when Brandon asked him to stop following him. An eg. would be Lawrence stalking Brandon as Brandon was playing basketball.

We know what was reported. It can easily be that Lawrence Fobes King (Lawrence) also committed physical abuse (assault & battery) against Brandon James McInerney (Brandon), only that Brandon did not report this. If the school had expelled Lawrence Fobes King when complaints were made, his February 2008 killing would likely not have happened-they should have tried to help cure Lawrence Fobes King of transexuality.

Lawrence Fobes King exposing himself and harassing others and Lawrence Fobes King masturbating in front of other in public restroom among other things. We know what was reported about Lawrence Fobes King exposing himself and harassing others but it would not surprise me if Lawrence Fobes King molested children only that it went unreported as most do.

What gets me about Anonymous's comments here is the lack of courage to sign the comments with a name.

Cause you'll try to verbally lynch a individual based off of what you feel, and not state reliable stated facts without skewed data. So, why should i comment and leave my name, when are you're going to do it call people names. You need not know my name if you're going to do that. Coming out as Transgender isn't brave or courageous, but for some reason people get a medal for it. If that's our new standard for being courageous, then how do I compare that to what a person in the military does in the battlefield.

I'm avid support for Ben Shapiro and the movement that he's done both on Youtube and the community among those who fight against Trans. No one has the right to take rights from others to make rights exclusively you. Trans don't have the right to make others uncomfortable, cause your're not comfortable walking into the bathroom/facilities that are clearly assigned to your sex/gender. I agree with Ben Shapiro with saying that Transgenderism is sign of Gender Dysphoria , a mental disorder. How is it any different than someone believing they have a personality disorder believes that they have special powers, another person, or a religious symbol on the void of saving humanity. There's no difference, both have delusions thing thinking they are what they aren't. Only thing difference in this case is that society is forced, not accepted, forced to say that having a mental disorder is , such as, gender dysphoria is OK. It's not OK to play along with a delusional idea, just so it won't hurt they're feelings. It seems to be the social norm of today. Accept things as they are, and we shouldn't be able to disagree with the left without get barraged by screaming protests, threatened without consequence, labeled as a bigot, and in worse cases in California put in jail for not calling an individual by a sex/gender they're not. Sorry, for as many people fighting on your side for the bathroom bill, they're just as many fighting against you that are stated facts that trump your feelings.

All debaters Welcome. Keep it civil.
