Defending Human Rights Under Authoritarianism: A UPR50 Side Event

On November 6th, 2025, the ACLU will join advocates from the Center for Constitutional Rights, the ACLU of Southern California, the Abolitionist Law Center, the National Homelessness Law Center, the International Service for Human Rights, and the Center for Reproductive Rights for a side event on the occasion of the 50th session of the Working Group on the Universal Periodic Review. This side event will highlight testimonies and analyses on the current human rights crisis in the United States.
