On June 14, 2017, the ACLU joined a letter with coalition partners in response to a request for comment from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regarding their regulatory reform agenda. The ACLU and its coalition partners urge HUD to ensure that any regulatory or deregulatory activity pursued by the agency does not interfere with HUD’s central mission of protecting and advancing fair housing.
