In advance of a House floor vote on May 2, 2017, the ACLU issued a letter urging members to oppose H.R. 1180, the Working Families Flexibility Act of 2017. The legislation offers employees a false promise of flexibility that could undermine meaningful access to adequate leave for child care and other family responsibilities.
