Signed coalition comments to HUD on a proposed rule that implements HUD Housing Programs pursuant to the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013. The letter ultimately calls for the VAWA housing provisions to be used as tool to help survivors remain safe, begin to heal, avoid homelessness, and rebuild their lives. The law has great potential to help survivors maintain their housing while maintaining their safety.
